I am reasearching Tropical Rainforests.

Description
Tropical Rainforests are forests with tall trees, warm climates and lots of rain. In some rainforests, it rains on average between 2500-4500 mm every year. In a rainforest it rains nearly every day.Rainforest Animals 1.jpg
It is said that in 1000 hectares of a Rainforest there are 1,500 different flowers and 750 different species of trees.
Rainforests hold roughly 50% of the animals on Earth. In 1000 hectares there are about 125 species of mammals, 400 species of birds, 150 species of butterflies, 100 species of reptiles and 60 species of amphibians. The Rainforests give us many medicines and fruit. The Rainforests also give us oxygen. However, these days humans are destroying the Rainforest which can cause many bad side affects. If you would like to find out more about threats then visit my Rainforest threats page. Even though that Rainforests cover only 6% of Earth, they hold the most exotic animals and plants on Earth.
